Rebuild and repair of both boards August,2004 to January, 2005
Originally Moxie had a mini-keel running about 2/3 the
length of the main hull but in 2001 Brandon Davis
removed the keel and manufactured Daggerboards
and installed them in each Ama. The installation of
the boards has allowed Moxie to point up at five more
degrees and has increased her stability to windward
immensely.

When we pulled Moxie out of the water in Port Townsend
in May 2004, it was discovered that there was a fine
crack running fore and aft on the starboard
daggerboard.
